Adopt-a-Family Program Food Donation Drive - December 3-7
So far this year at TMS, we've collected hundreds of dollars in donations with our Halloween Dress Up Day, as well as our recent Pumpkin Launching/Trebuchet activity. Thank you to all participants for your generous donations!
In addition to these monetary donations, we are looking to collect canned goods and non-perishable items to help our neighbors in need during the holidays.
Thanks to our 8th Grade students at their recent Harvest Feast event, our food collection is off to a great start. We will be continuing our food collection next week, December 3rd-7th. Please consider bringing in a canned good or non-perishable food item. The food collection boxes will be located in our front lobby area.
Last year our Adopt-a-Family program was able to assist over 100 needy families and elderly community members by providing a meal, as well as gifts for children and teens who might otherwise go without.
Through your generous contributions we hope to continue this great tradition of giving for our neighbors in need.

Robotics is Back
The TMS robotics team is back for its second year and we are looking to build on last year's success. We are looking for new members to join the team and we are are also looking for some financial help. We could really use some donations from high tech companies to help fund our team. The starting price for a returning team is $1,500. Last year we were lucky enough to have a couple of companies donate money which gave us the ability to field two teams (THS and TMS). We are hoping to get similar support this year, so if you work for a high tech company or know someone who does, and that company is willing to donate please let Mr.Boisvert at THS know! adam.boisvert@tyngsboroughps.org
We are also accepting Box Tops to help raise money. Our first TMS robotics meeting was held on Tuesday November 27th. If your child wasn't able to make the meeting, please contact Mr.Boisvert with any questions.
