Mrs. Megan Severino - 7th Grade School Counselor
Looking Forward to an amazing year!
In seventh grade, the academic expectations and demands can increase. Similar to last year, our students have multiple classes to balance, and this can become overwhelming for some students. As a school counselor, I am available to help students with such topics as organization, time management, study skills and self advocacy. These are important skills that can assist students with achieving academic success.
Similarly, seventh grade is often a time where friendships change, and the social aspect of school becomes increasingly important for many of our students. During this time of transition, I help students navigate through these friendship adjustments, as well as work with students on conflict resolution strategies to assist them with any issues that may arise.
I am available to assist any student with the various academic, social and emotional struggles that they may experience throughout their time in the middle school. Please reach out to me with any questions at severino.megan@newfairfieldschools.org or (203) 312-5817.
