January Newsletter

A time to Rest & Recharge...

Greetings to you all! We are definitely building to a well deserved break for students and staff. Classes have been busy keeping up with needed content as well as the end of our first semester in a few short weeks. With all of that, a break is good and will help students energize for the final push of the semester.

We want to thank you all for your patience and cooperation as we enhanced security protocols over the past few weeks. Student safety is our top priority and we will do all we can to ensure they are safe at school. Please continue to talk to your child about social media and the consequences of spreading rumors online. We want positive interactions on social media and that will take all of us to accomplish!

Thanks for your support of OHS and enjoy the holiday season.

Kory Kath, OHS Principal

Big picture

Student Illnesses

We have seen a definite increase in the number of students reporting they have Influenza and Covid. We also know that students are coming to school with symptoms and we want you to know that this increases the spread in our school and community.

Please help us stop the spread by keeping your child home if they are experiencing Influenza or Covid symptoms. We want all students to be healthy at school and decrease the spread of Influenza and Covid.

Be safe, be healthy and stay home if you are sick.
