Cubs' Communication

January 6, 2023

Collins Families:

I hope you all had a nice and relaxing break! I am so grateful to begin another calendar year here at Collins with your precious little ones. Our dedicated and hard-working Collins staff has hit the ground running. Our students are returning to their routines with ease and have done an excellent job getting back into the rigor of our school days.

At Collins we are continuing to build on the solid foundation that was built before holiday break. Our Collins teachers will also be focusing on working toward our school improvement goals which encompass all areas of our curriculum. Our winter NWEA testing window opens Tuesday, January 17th. Your child's teacher will be communicating the classroom testing schedule with you soon. Finally, we will be dedicating time working with your children on the various test taking strategies they can utilize to be successful on the upcoming assessments.

While academics are important, our team is dedicated to guide our students to navigate challenges both socially and emotionally. We strive to build problem solvers and critical thinkers, as well as providing them with the tools to work together toward a common goal. We look forward to continuing our partnership with you to ensure the success for all of our Collins Cubs!
