Cold Weather Gear
Michigan weather is changing!!! Rain, snow, ice and cold temps are possible.
Students continue to go out for recess daily; weather permitting. Please send them prepared for outdoor weather with coats, hats, and mittens. If there is snow, please also send snow-pants and boots.
It is our policy that students go outside unless the "feels like" temperature is less than 10 degrees or it is raining.
We strongly recommend writing your child's name on tags of winter items to easily find the owner when items are lost. We have a lost and found where students may also look for lost items.
If your child is in need of winter apparel, please contact our office at (231) 760-1850 or email:cassandra.covington@orchardview.org.
Please complete the community survey
Orchard View Schools is applying to receive Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER) to address learning recovery from the impact of COVID-19. These funds are designated for one-time or short-term expenditures to address the ongoing impact of the pandemic.
The Administration of Orchard View Schools is seeking feedback from all district and community stakeholders to help determine how the district should best utilize these resources to address unfinished learning, ongoing COVID-19 recovery and Federal Program grant funds. Please let us know your opinions by completing this brief survey by December 5th. Thank you for your feedback!
