Book Return

Throughout the year, classroom books and books from our school book closet have been sent home with students. As we are nearing the end of the school year, please check around the house for any school books and return to school with your child this week. Thank you.

Device Return

On Wednesday, June 16, Woodland School will be collecting any remaining devices that are at home for students who are attending school in-person. They can be sent in with your child via their backpack and will be collected, inspected and marked as returned by the technology department. Please remember to include the charger.

On Tuesday, June 22 (last day of school), from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, we will collect devices from remote student families along with teacher books and materials that need to be returned. Any in-person family who was unable to return their device can do so at this time as well. Please drive through the Woodland loop to return devices, chargers and teacher materials. The IT staff will be there to collect devices.

Field Day

We are pleased to announce that we will have a modified version of Field Day for all Woodland Students this year!

All Woodland students in grades Pre-K -2 will participate in field day games and activities on Thursday, June 17th (rain date Friday, June 18th). K-2 Woodland students, including remote students, will participate in Field Day events with their current Specials teacher during their regularly scheduled Specials Class.

Pre-K students will participate in Field Day events with their Pre-K teacher.

All students should wear sneakers to school for field day activities along with sunscreen and a water bottle!

The PAWS PTO is providing cool treats and popcorn too! The school nurse will review the ingredients for children who have allergies.

Flamingos On A Beach

Students in Ms. Beebe‘s term five classes made flamingos on a beach. Miss Colapietro‘s class works so well as a team, that she decided to make it a collaborative project and allow them to create a large flamingo beach mural! The class was split into groups, and they worked together to add details to their beach such as pirate ships, islands, mermaids, and cruise ships. One island even has music notes coming from the hut! Ms. Beebe was incredibly impressed with their teamwork and their responsibility when using all of the messy materials, especially in their regular classroom setting. You wouldn’t even know that they painted because they kept the room so clean!
