Dear ASA Community,
We are thrilled to announce that our Open Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is now in full swing for both our Chino and Fontana campuses! If you have a child who is not currently enrolled in our school or have friends and family eager to join our exceptional school community, this is the perfect opportunity.
Key Details:
Application Period: NOW through December 31, 2023.
For students who are NOT currently attending ASA Chino or Fontana.
Applications and waitlists do not carry over from the previous school year. Therefore, a new application is required if you wish to have your child attend ASA for the 2024-2025 school year.
Current ASA Parents: No need to submit an application for currently enrolled students. You're all set!
Immediate Openings in Fontana: Our Fontana campus has limited grade-level openings for the current school year, so don't miss this opportunity. ASA Fontana is also accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year until December 31, 2023.
Help us spread the word and invite those who might be interested in joining ASA to visit our Admissions page on our website and submit their applications before December 31, 2023.

💚Fontana Families Forward Night 5:00pm
Join us for our upcoming Fontana Families Forward Night, where we'll delve into essential topics of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and STEAM!
At ASA, we believe in fostering a strong sense of community and open dialogue. Our Families Forward Nights are all about coming together to explore important themes that impact our lives and our children's education.
For our next event, we're focusing on two key subjects: "Managing Stress with Mindfulness" and "Fostering a Healthy Self-Image." These topics are not only relevant to our students but also valuable for parents and guardians.
Please note that this event is exclusively for adult parents and guardians. Let's create a safe, supportive space for meaningful conversations that matter.
We can't wait to see you there!

Counselor's Corner
Hi families!
This week your kiddos learned all about Citizenship - meaning how to be an outstanding individual. They learned that good citizens think about others, do their part in their community, and try their best to do the right thing. Next week, they will be learning about having a Growth Mindset and why it is important to not give up and to learn from mistakes that may be made.
TK - 1st grade learned how to Talk it Out when something is wrong and how to communicate with others how they are feeling. 2nd - 5th grade learned about self-control and why it is so important to think about their actions and why it is important to be in control of their brains and their bodies. 6th - 8th grade learned about the importance of having a solid support system, or people who are there for them to push them and encourage them in the right direction.
*Gentle reminder: Ms. V is a school counselor, meaning that she helps your kiddos with school-based needs. These school based needs can include feeling anxious in class or at school, needing social tools on how to make new friends, organizational skills to stay on track with assignments, emotion management, etc. She is happy to check-in with kiddos about their social and emotional wellbeing, but she is meant to be a short-term solution. If you think your child could benefit from outside therapy or counseling, please get in contact with her and she can refer you to the proper resources. Thank you for your understanding!
