Husky News!
Greetings Husky Students and Families,
You are personally invited to help Hearne reach success!
One of our goals each year is to have at least 2 family interactions with each of our students' families. This means for every student in our building, families will visit our campus events at least 2 times. We are excited to share that for a majority of our students, we have already surpassed this goal. Thank you for coming to show your support and learn ways you can help your child at home.
I miss you all very much! In my temporary absence, I am extremely fortunate to have our current administrators, Mrs. Brown and Mr. Serpas continue to lead the charge of making Hearne the best school in Alief! They are amazing leaders and will be here to support any of your needs. Our campus team will maintain communication with you using our text messages, email services, website, and social media accounts.
Additionally, we are excited to welcome Mrs. Lipscomb, a former Alief principal, who will be joining the Hearne administrative team as interim principal. Many of you have met her as she served as the principal of Youngblood Intermediate School for nearly a decade before retiring. She is joining our campus with superb expertise in school operations and maintaining quality instruction for our Hearne students.
As stated previously, our Hearne students will not miss a beat in the remaining Fall/Winter months! With your support, we will be an A campus at the end of this year.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our campus at 281-983-8333.
If you need anything, please let us know so we can support you and your family. Enjoy the upcoming holiday seasons!
Sending you lots of positive energy,
Mrs. Johanna Sanchez
Principal

Thank you for your cooperation.

If you need to change your child's mode of transportation for dismissal, this must occur before 2:30 PM.
Bus Riders should be using their SMART Tags daily!
The SMART Tag electronic bus transportation system ensures that students get on the right bus and get off at the right stop. School busses are equipped with a SMART Tag reader that riders swipe when loading and unloading
If your student lost their SMART Tag, there is a $5 replacement fee. Please place the money in a sealed envelope with your students' name when sending it to school.
