HSA

Thank you for all the support in December! From raffle sales to shopping at Five Below to the students shopping in the school Holiday Shop, Kindle families showed their support and the HSA is truly thankful.

We look forward to seeing you in the January HSA meeting on January 4th at 7pm in the library. We have tons of great activities coming up in the new year and we would love your feedback.

The HSA wishes everyone Happy Holidays and we hope you enjoy any goodies bought by your student.

What is Give Kids A Smile?

The Give Kids A SmileĀ® (GKAS) program, launched nationally in 2003, provides underserved children with free oral health care. Each year approximately 6,500 dentists and 30,000 dental team members volunteer at local GKAS events to provide free oral health education, screenings, preventive and restorative treatment to over 300,000 children.

Is your child in need of dental care? Give Kids A Smile is meant to help children who cannot otherwise afford to see a dentist

School Breakfast Program

If students are ordering breakfast they should arrive at school by 8:05. Students need to be finished breakfast when homeroom starts at 8:20. Eating breakfast can improve school performance. Research shows that increase School Breakfast Program participation is associated with better academic test scores, daily attendance, and class participation. The School Breakfast Program also has been linked to reductions in student absences and tardiness. Breakfast is $2.00 and Reduced/Free lunch is $0.00.
