Lesson on the Coronavirus
This is an interesting lesson on the Coronavirus. It has several parts that include basic information on where the Coronavirus originated, symptoms, and treatment but then it also goes into how the virus is causing racism, and how the flu is more deadly than the Coronavirus. Students read through articles, watch news stories, and have great discussions throughout the lesson.
Note: The NGSS standard they put in the lesson is not specific but it works great with Louisiana's HS-LS1-8.
You are not required to use the lesson but I wanted to share it if you have time and have students who would be interested.
