Principal Message
Hello Cooper Family and Friends,
The crisp air is upon us as we enter into November and 2nd quarter is on its way! We've had an unbelievable (and unprecedented) start to the school year along with lots of unbelievable learning each and every day!
During the first two months of school, students learned and practiced school and classroom routines and expectations, but also learned about goals. Not only did each student learn why goal setting is important but also reviewed their own personal data with the help of their teacher and set their own learning goals. Please ask your student about his/her goals and the tasks being done to improve in these areas. You may even have some suggestions!
If there is anything that I would ask from you, I would ask that you continue to encourage your child to READ, READ, and READ some more! Read with your child, read to your child, listen to your child read – all are GREAT ways to encourage the love of reading!
Virtual Parent-Teacher conferences are on November 4th and 5th. Teachers are excited to share with you your student's successes and accomplishments toward their learning goals. Your child's teacher has communicated with you how to access your virtual conference. If you have questions, please reach out to your child's teacher as they will help you. Thank you in advance for virtually attending your child’s conference and supporting your student in their educational journey.
Just a reminder, there is NO SCHOOL Nov. 26-28 as we celebrate Thanksgiving. I wish you all a restful and rejoiceful Thanksgiving. Thank you always for your continued support and for encouraging your child to be a life-long learner.
