Clover Flat Connection

August 14th, 2020

Good Evening Clover Flat Redhawk Students and Families,

School starts, Wednesday, August 19th. We would like to share our Distance Learning Schedule. This is a general outline for families to see how the day will be structured. Teachers will be reaching out to you before the first day of school to share their class schedule and information on the First Day of School.

The Distance Learning Schedule you see in the link below, is the general outline, but each grade level will have live sessions appropriate to their grade level i.e kindergarten will have 15-30 minutes for math while 6th grade may have 45-60. The morning will be the live sessions for ELA (English Language Arts) and math. After 11:00, teachers will run small groups. The afternoon is for independent work and teachers will post PE and art activity videos in that time frame.

We know managing the on-line schedules will be a challenge and this will be a work in progress. Your classroom teacher will guide you through and we will be flexible to make this work for our families. As we navigate these new waters, it is important to keep in contact with teachers, so please have the most up to date phone number and email address in Aeries and respond to teacher communications.

Students will be working on simple, getting to know you activities the first week. Teachers will host a virtual Back to School Night on August 24th from 5:00-6:00. More details will be available next week.

Please call or email me with any questions,

Stay safe, stay healthy, and have a great weekend!
