Las Posadas
In Normal Heights
Come participate in a neighborhood tradition!
Looking for something meaningful, local, and a way to meet neighbors? Come to Las Posadas at Normal Heights United Methodist Church! In case you do not know, the posadas is a Christmas tradition, typically celebrated in Mexico, which re-enacts Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem in search of lodging (“posadas”). There will be caroling and a fiesta with tamales and posole, music, pinatas and some crafts for children. Any and all are welcome to come to this free event!
