A message from the CRB Celebration Crew

CRB is a learning community where we want all students and their families to feel welcome and appreciated. In order to further support one another and increase inclusivity, we would like to highlight the holidays and traditions that are important to our students throughout the year. If you have a photo of your child and/or family celebrating a special tradition or holiday event that we may include in a slideshow highlighting that celebration (Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, Christmas, etc.) please send it to us via email (hard copies are also welcome) at The slide show will only run in the front foyer of the school for our students and staff. We look forward to bringing our school community together during the many celebrations of the year.

Let’s get started! Send us your photos.

Sock Drive

T'is the season for giving and helping others; something the CRB community does so well. Our Student Parliament is organizing a sock drive for Burlington Taxi's "Socks For the Homeless". Socks are the most requested item by missions and shelters in Canada. The students will be collecting warm pairs of new socks, preferably not dress or thin ones. Socks can be dropped off in Room 35. Donators will be recorded and a group photo will be taken for the school newsletter. Sock donations will be accepted up until Dec. 19th.

Thanks so much and remember... "the warmer the better"!

We would like to take the time to thank all of the wonderful volunteers that support the CRB community. Thanks to you, we have organized book carts, pizza lunches, the Holiday Bazaar, and snack programs (just to name a few).

Just a reminder that we do need all CRB parent volunteers to have a Halton police check on file at the school. An Annual Offence Declaration needs also to be completed at the beginning of each school year. You can download a copy of the Declaration at Volunteers-Police Checks/Annual Offence Declarations, or they are available in the school office.
