Welcome to 6th Grade
By: Genevieve Thornton
Welcome
Many people coming into 6th grade are terrified and very worried about what is ahead of them but once you adjust to it 6th grade can be a very good year for you. Another worry upcoming 6th graders have is about their locker and time in between each class. Your locker is fairly simple though and teachers will be lenient on tardies the first week or two. So don't worry you'll be okay.
Ready
Ready, always have a pencil and other needed supplies. NEVER have a dead chrome book or a almost dead chrome book. ALWAYS remember to bring necessary materials for that class, such as books, binders, and headphones.
Respectful
Respectful, respect your teacher, class mates, and school supplies.
Responsible
Responsible, responsible students do all their work and turn it in on time every time.
Good Luck
6th grade can be one of the best years of your life but only if you make it a good year. At first locker visits are scary and transitions between classes are frightening but after a while everything works out. Sometimes students are even quite startling so in order to make it in 6th grade you must be willing to make it in 6th grade.
