Message from the Principal
Dear Grange Hall Families,
We decided to change the format of Back-to-School night this year with the goal of bringing our school community together and learning through the eyes of our students. The weather was perfect and our students and teachers did an excellent job of sharing the learning and growing that happens at Grange Hall each day. A special thanks to our community partners, Parkway Baptist and the GHES PTA for providing shuttle service, parking, and food trucks. As both a parent and principal, it meant so much to see our school community come together to enjoy time with families, friends, and to experience school through the eyes of our children.
Attendance was incredible which means that we definitely need to plan for MORE food trucks at future events! Thank you to those who have reached out to provide our leadership team with both positive and constructive feedback on our BTSN. I would like to provide all families with an opportunity to share their experience and offer suggestions to make this event even more meaningful in the future. Please take a moment to complete the survey below:
Thank you for your continued support of our school's vision "Together We: Learn, Grow, Lead."
With Kindness,
Mrs. Jones

Start With Hello Week
Start With Hello 2019 September 23-27, 2019
We have exciting news! GHES is participating with other CCPS schools in the National “Start with Hello” campaign. Your students will be learning about how to notice when other students are not feeling included or welcome. The purpose of this week is to help students feel seen, accepted, safe, included and connected rather than left out, alone invisible, isolated.
3 action steps that your students will be learning
See someone alone - what does that look like?
Reach out and help
Start With “Hello”
As a family, take time this week to discuss what kids can do if they see someone who looks isolated or excluded
Sit with them
reach out on social media or a text
invite them to join you in something
Greet others: handshake, fist bump, high five, or a pat on the back
handwritten note on a sticky

When inactive, the app may show a bus at a location near its last location before the transmission period ended.
Need to report your child's absence?
