2023-24 Calendar Feedback Survey
The Bowling Green Independent School District Calendar Committee has developed a draft 2023-24 academic calendar that is similar to the current school year. The committee would like feedback to submit to the Board of Education on Monday, December 12th. School calendars must have two readings by the Board of Education before approval, therefore the calendar will not be final until January 2023.
Please visit the link below to review the proposed calendar and to submit feedback:

Student Life
Appreciate Representative Patti Minter for visiting and serving as principal for the day. We are grateful for her interactions with staff & students to better understand the amazing things taking place in our classrooms and the supports needed in public education.
Thank you, WKU Literacy Ambassadors, for donating books to our students who were impacted by the December storms.
Family Consumer Science
Mrs. Swiatek's Family Consumer Science Essentials class went on a field trip to WKU this week. WKU's AAFCS hosted "A Record Year in FCCLA: Middle School Edition" for region 4 middle school FCS students. This is the first year it has been offered to middle school and hopefully the start of a new tradition for the program. The students learned the history of Family Consumer Sciences and how they can take part in the FCCLA (Family Career & Community Leaders of America) program in their future. Students participated in various activities including a scavenger hunt, a sock hop dance off, and several team building activities.
