Great first week!

We are so happy to see everyone back at Sweetsir and Donaghue Schools! Our first week was a huge success.

Student Council

We are having elections for the Student Council on Friday, September 30th. The Student Council is an organized group of students who meet regularly and share in the life of the school. The Student Council develops leadership skills and the representatives help promote school spirit. They talk about ideas, plan/promote activities, and perform charitable works. In the past the Student Council has conducted food drives, promoted a Jump-a thon, a Juvenile Walk for Diabetes, a Relay for Life and organized spirit days.

Monthly meetings will be held on one Friday a month from 7:45 – 8:15 am. in Room 8. Student Council representatives are expected to attend these meetings.

All students who wish to run must fill out the Student Council Application, have their petitions signed, and return them to their teacher by September 23rd. More information to follow.
