New Read for SCC Missions
Our Missions Team has been very intentional on reading new books about how to do missions well in these days. We have now begun Serving as Senders Today to expand our understanding of our role as supporters of missionaries on the field. Contact the book store or Pastor Brad for a copy.
"Thanks" from Trailways Camp
SCC had over 27 volunteers that helped serve at Trailways Camp (a camp for adults with disabilities) last month. Thank you to all that helped make this camp a huge success! Pray for Missions
Please continue to pray for our mission partners in the field as they are on the front lines for the Gospel. Also pray for the Missions Team as we navigate through the budget process for 2015!

"THANK YOU!!" from the Owens
The most recent past Special Missions Offering (Aug/Sept) was to help the Owens in their move to Papua New Guinea for doing Bible translation. Here is a note from the Owens.
Dear Sanibel Family,
On behalf of Angela, the girls, and the Somau Garia people of Papua New Guinea I'd like to say a huge "thank you" for the kind generosity shown to us and our ministry with Pioneer Bible Translators. Wow! Your investment in translation of the New Testament will have impact for generations to come--thank you!
Your servant in Christ,
Todd Owen, missionary translator to the Somau Garia people
