Current Problems

I would use my power as president to consider the national debt as a government and realize where we are using too much of our money. I would use the executive power to make sure all the elected officials know if they are over budget. They should write a plan about how this is going to be changed. Then I will propose ideas about how we should make these changes to stay in our budget to Congress.

According to the U.S. National Debt Clock we are $19,262,050,650,000 in debt. The debt per citizen is $59,544. The largest budget items are Medicare/Medicaid, social security, defense/ war, income security and federal pensions. The monetary base for 2016 has gone up 542% but the total personal debt has gone up 120%.

We need to analyze the largest budget items such as medicare and medicaid. We need to figure out why we are giving out so much money to those items and what would happen if we did not give this much money away to them.
