The Siegrist Star
Week of January 29, 2024
Let's Build a Snowman
Our Yearbook Team has partnered up with the Student Lighthouse Team on our lead days to help with positive projects. This month they wanted to build a snowman out of new donated clothing items. The donations will be taken to the City Union Mission Family Shelter and the PC Treasure Chest.
WOW! Because of your generosity, they were able to build two snowmen! Thank you to the teams and their mentors, Ms. Moreno and Couch Stapleton for all of their help and to our community for their donations for our families in need.
Pledge of Allegiance and Patriotism
Ten years ago, Brooklynn and Mrs. Jeffries wore their Superpower shirts to celebrate Brooklynn for meeting her goals. Brooklynn hopped right on the microphone to talk about her goals and her action steps when the district office staff stopped by. This week, Brooklynn returned to Siegrist and to Mrs. J's classroom to share her adventures at the Northland Career Center. Brooklynn and the Law Enforcement/Crime Scene Investigation team taught about the Pledge of Allegiance and patriotism. The kids participated in activities and reflected on what patriotism means to them. Mrs. Jeffries loves championing Brooklynn even more today than she did years ago! We love it when our Siegrist leaders return to take the microphone and inspire the next generation!
