It's almost time....The Walk-a-thon is next Friday! We will be walking on the sidewalks of Campbell to Morse to Rockwell to Farwell back to Campbell from 9:15-10:15. Funds that are raised will be used for new lights in the red building, and for tuition assistance. Our goal is to raise $5,000...and we are almost there!!!!
Volunteers needed: We have 6 volunteers and could use 6 more to walk with the “littles”, stand on the corners to punch tickets, monitor half-way down each block and by the alleys. If you have time to donate, please reach out to me via email (alandgrave@biachicago.com) or catch me at drop-off or pick-up.

Rounding and Comparing Numbers in Miss Nosko's Class
Hard Hat Winner...Jalani Moore!
Jalani comes to school ready to learn. She works hard at learning her letter sounds and numbers. Jalani has taken one of the youngest classmates under her wing, as they miss home. Jalani has invited her new classmate to play every morning. They also sit together during circle time. Jalani “tidies up” the room and puts toys away which she has not played with. She is always willing to help!
A Note from our Director of Marketing & Enrollment - Mrs. Bateman
Who doesn't love a top "5" list...and I've got one for you! Here are the top 5 reasons parents choose a private Lutheran education over their local alternatives:
1- Parent Involvement - We love having our families on campus and involved in what is happening in and out of the classroom.
2 - Safe Learning Environment - We pride ourselves on providing a safe environment for each child. From cameras, to security doors, and staff training, we have your child's interest at heart.
3 - Strong Sense of Community - Our families are more than just acquaintances...we are a community - a family.
4 - Individualized Teacher Attention/High Academic Standards - Each student in our classrooms benefits from the individualized attention that their teacher provides them. Whether it's to challenge students, or provide a bit more help, diversification ensures your child is met where they are.
5 - A Firm Foundation in Faith - Faith isn't just something that we share in chapel on Wednesdays. Faith is incorporated into every part of our school day.
We are so thankful that your family has chosen to invest in your child's academic, spiritual, social, and emotional future at BIA! We currently have limited spots open in a few of our grades...and we'd love to fill those. If you have family or friends who are interested, please direct them to myself (abateman@biachicago.com) or have them call the school office. We'd love a introduction, and as always, are thankful for your help in spreading the word about BIA.
