However, our phone lines are being monitored during business hours and calls are being returned. You can call the school and leave a message (240-740-1400) and we will return your call. You can also email Mr. Sinclair at Robert_Sinclair@mcpsmd.org and we will get back to you.
Blake High School Distance Learning Plans
- The first day of each week is our Content Sharing Days. Teachers will push out material to students through myMCPS classroom or Google classroom. This information will include the materials, activities, and assignments for the week. Students can start to plan out and work on their activities for the week. Students should reach out to teachers via email or other ways teachers have provided students to ask questions.
- The remaining days of the week are Office Hour Days. On these days the mornings are time that is set aside for students to work independently on their work. Each afternoon students will be able to sign up for support during office hours. Each teacher will have office hours during their regularly scheduled classes and students should arrange support during that time. So, for example, if a student needs support in their second period Geometry class they should arrange an appointment with their Geometry teacher during second period.
- Student will schedule office hour appointments using this form.
- Friday, April 17th is the last day of the marking period. This is not an office hour or content sharing day. Teachers will be working on grading, completing report card paperwork and working individually on closing out the third marking period.
If you have any questions you can view a video explaining the schedules here or you can reach out to your teacher, counselor, or administrator.
