Studentreasures Steps to Promotion
By now, scholars should be "Revising & Editing" their story and illustrations for the Studentreasures project. Please ensure that EVERY scholar have included ONE story to the classbook. Teachers should allow time during morning work for scholars to complete this task daily. Parents can also support the scholars at home by reading the story the scholars plan to submit to ensure spelling, grammar, and the appropriate punctuation marks are included. Review their illustrations to ensure they match the events of the story. Parents, please speak with your scholar's teachers to ensure that you have received a copy of the permission order form for this project. If you would like to order a copy of the classbook, now is the time as you will not have this option to do so once the books have been shipped to the school. I have included an image of the permission order form in this message to inquire about, if you have not already received and returned one. This form assures that all scholars receive a free copy of the book once permission has been granted by the parent/guardian.
February 27th – March 10th
§ Final Draft: This is the time for your scholars to write their final draft on the papers provided by Studentreasures. The final draft documents are located inside the kit that was provided to you.
March 13th – March 17th
§ Pack your kits up and prepare to have them shipped back to Studentreasures for publishing.
