1 🐯 College Park 4🖤❤️💚💙 Houses
Dear College Park Elementary Family,
As we enter the month of November, we want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to all of you for your continued support and commitment to our school. Your dedication to your children's education and the sense of community you bring to our campus is truly remarkable, and we are proud to have you as part of the College Park Elementary family. Each month we will celebrate at our Excellence Extravaganza, the accomplishments of Attendance, ROAR Behavior & Academic Achievement by the winning house.
In October we acknowledged the incredible efforts of our Amistad parents, who have shown outstanding support for the House of Achievement award. Your contributions have played a crucial role in our students' academic accomplishments, and we extend our heartfelt thanks.
To our Rêveur parents, we appreciate your unwavering support for the House of Presence award, which emphasizes the importance of regular attendance. Your involvement has made a significant difference in encouraging our students to be present and engaged in their education.
Altruismo parents, we applaud your dedication to promoting the ROAR behaviors within our school community. Your efforts have helped Altruismo secure the House of ROAR for the month of October, and we are thrilled to have you as a part of our vibrant community.
As we head into the three weeks of November, we look forward to seeing the results of the Excellence Extravaganza, which will be revealed on December 1st. We can't wait to see which house will come out on top, and we know that your continued support will make a difference in this competition.
If you would like to purchase a house shirt to show your support or if you need another shirt for your child, please visit our online store. It's a great way to display your pride in your child's house and foster a sense of belonging within our school.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support, and we are excited to see what the future holds for our College Park Elementary community. Together, we make a difference in the lives of our students, and we are thankful for the opportunity to work alongside such dedicated and caring parents.
Wishing you a wonderful November, and looking forward to the upcoming House of Excellence results!
Sincerely,
Dr. Maisha N. Otway

Character Storybook Day
Character Storybook Day
On October 31, students celebrated their love for literature by dressing up as characters from their favorite books. The school day was transformed into a colorful and imaginative event as students arrived in various costumes that represented the fictional characters they admired like Cat and the Hat, Super Mario, and Sonic the Hedgehog. We even had a special guest appearance featuring Chase from Paw Patrol. From Harry Potter and Hermione Granger to Alice in Wonderland and superheroes from graphic novels, the students exhibited their creativity and passion for reading. Teachers and staff also joined in on the fun, adding to the festive atmosphere.
