Admin Telephone System Installation

May 2015

In compliance with the 2013 Bond, TMS will be replacing all phone systems at each campus. The installations will begin in April and go through the summer. You are receiving this information because your location will be receiving the system soon.

Default Voicemail Password

The default Password is 2580 followed by the # key.

Please change this to a new password.

Cisco Jabber Install

What is Jabber? Jabber is the new Office Communicator!

Once you receive your new phone, you will need to install Jabber.

Making an External Call?

Dial 9 followed by the phone number

Dialing 911

There are two ways to reach 911 from the Cisco Phone:


  1. 911
  2. 9911


If you dial one of these by accident, please stay on the line and tell the 911 operator that it was a mistake, and then contact the front office immediately.


*If you dial 911 or 9911 the telephone system will call the front office and tell them that your extension has dialed 911 or 9911.

Site Code and Unified Extension List

Only campuses that have the new system will work with the five digit dialing.


Please go to the Cisco IP Phone Training Page and click on Site Codes and Unified Extensions.

*Reminder* Update your campus website with new numbers

Main numbers will stay the same, but if your DID number is published on your website, then please update with the new phone numbers.
