Important Dates This Week:
October 11- 9th Graders will have a class activity in the auditorium all morning. They will report to Connections at 8:45.
October 11- 11th and 12th Graders will be taking part in the Gallop Poll
October 11- ASVAB in the auxillary gym for those that signed up

COLLEGE AND FINANCIAL AID HELP
Family Financial Aid Workshops will be offered at four high schools on Tuesday evenings (6:00-7:30) in October.See attached schedule. School counselors and college financial aid officers will be presenting updated information on the financial aid process, deadlines and tips for students and parents. The public is invited and handouts will be provided to all attendees.
College Goal Greenville will be offered on 10/16, 10/23 and 11/6. Families may bring their tax information and work confidentially with a financial aid officer or volunteer anytime from 4:00-6:30, to complete and submit theirFAFSA. Free event. See attached schedule.

JUNIOR IGP MEETING SIGN-UPS
This year, we will be using an online scheduling system called Calendly to schedule junior IGP meetings. We are hoping this will increase parent participation in the meetings. The deadline to choose your student’s IGP meeting date and time is Friday, October 13th. If you do not choose a date and time for your student’s IGP meeting, we will schedule the meeting. We will be sending out IGP letters with the dates and times on Tuesday, October 24th Sign up for your student’s IGP meeting according to who his/her counselor is. If you are unsure of who your student’s counselor is, select the counselor who has the set of the alphabet for your student’s last name.
