Early Dismissal Student Departure Plan
If school closes early due to weather, teachers will dismiss students according to the Early Dismissal Plan in PowerSchool. This plan is set each year by guardians in the Registration forms and notifies the teacher how your student(s) will get home when/if school closes early. Examples: Student is picked up at the classroom door, Student will ride the bus home, Student will walk home, etc.
Please review the plan you have created in PowerSchool, communicate it with your student, and make changes if your plan is out of date.
Thank You Wall
Bennett Elementary School created a "Thank You Wall" honoring veterans for Veterans Day. Students and staff submitted photos and descriptions of family and friends who are veterans or active members of the military and they were hung up in a collage on a wall inside the school.
Christmas Food Boxes
Christmas food boxes will be distributed on Monday 12/19/2022 from 8am-3pm at Hope Lutheran Church 3626 25th St. S. Fargo.
If you would like to register for a Christmas food box, click on the link below or use the QR code.
PARKING LOT SAFETY
Students who are being dropped off/picked up should be driven through the southernmost car loop. The northern loop is reserved for buses. Please pull as far forward as possible in a single line and release your child to the curb from the right side of your vehicle. For safety reasons, please only release your student along the curb. Students shouldn’t cross traffic. Please remain in your vehicle so you are not blocking traffic. If you are going to walk your child to the building, please park in the southernmost parking lot and use the crosswalk to walk your child across the drop off/pick up loop. Staff will be out front of the building to assist students.
