Principal's Paragraphs

We're wrapping up our school year next week!

Field Day is Monday, May 16. This will happen RAIN or SHINE! 3rd through 5th grade will participate in Field Day activities from 9:20-11:20. Kindergarten through 2nd grade will participate in Field Day activities from 1:20-3:20. Students need to bring a change of clothes, beach towel, and sunscreen. There will be messy/wet activities indoor our outdoor.

5th Grade Promotion is Tuesday, May 17 at 9:30. This is a special event for 5th grade students and their families. Due to the large number of 5th grade students, other grade levels will not be watching the promotion ceremony. Please limit the number of family members invited if possible. Students should "dress to impress" for the ceremony, and plan to bring a change of clothes for their celebration in the afternoon.

Remember, school dismisses at 12:50 on Thursday, May 19.

If your child enrolled for summer school, it will begin on Tuesday, May 31. This is a 16 day program this year (Tuesday through Friday the first week, then Monday through Thursday the remaining weeks). Summer school begins at 7:30 and runs until 3:30. Breakfast and lunch are provided. All your student needs to come with is a smile and a backpack!

I hope all of our Belair Bulldog families have a great summer! Be safe! Have fun!

See you next year,
