BOOK FAIR PARKING AND ENTRY FOR DONUTS WITH GROWNUPS: Please do not block the car lines or neighbors' driveways. From 6:45-7:15 AM, please enter through the front doors. From 7:15-7:30 AM, you may enter through the side gates.

Ticket Shopping: Each student received one ticket to redeem during the week of book fair. Students may invite one guest to shop with them during the school day. Below is their PE schedule. We encourage you to come during their PE time so that they do not miss class instruction. Reservations are not necessary.
Online Shopping: What makes great gifts for nieces, nephews and gift exchanges? Books! Books are the perfect gift. If you order online and spend over $25, those gifts will ship directly to your home and all you have to do is add a bit of paper and a bow and you are ready for a party!

T.S. COOLEY ALL STATE CHOIR MEMBERS
Eight T.S. Cooley students were accepted into the Louisiana All-State Choir by audition. They are Jack Johnson, Arya Gonzalez- James, Peyson Denton, Shelby Jagneaux, Annie Prunty, Elsie Thatcher, Riley Webb, and Sydnee Donald. They rehearsed and performed in New Orleans this past week. Two of the students, Peyson and Riley, made a perfect score on their audition. They sang the solo part in one of the pieces.
T.S. Cooley Robotics Team "Tech Tigers"
The T.S. Cooley Robotics club kicked off their season this past Saturday by earning a spot in the finalist rounds of team competition. The Tech Tigers are Patrick Benoit, Luke Robbins, Jude YousseF, Roark McGee, Drew Sonnier, Sponsor Mike Wrobel, James Grigus, and Camryn Jones. CC Cunningham is not pictured.
Book Fair Pumpkin Winners for the 2022-2023
This year we had 150 entries. Our judges had a very difficult time choosing winners as all entries were very imaginative. Winning pumpkins are on display in the book fair and all others are displayed in the library. All pumpkins will be sent home this Friday, November 4th.

NEW TO OUR WEEKLY NEWSLETTER - STUDENT EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND AWARDS
T.S. Cooley has many students that shine here and away from campus. We showcase many of their accomplishments at school in our yearbook, shine boards, morning assemblies and awards days. After hearing about so many of their outside accomplishments we have decided to add a shine board to our weekly newsletters. We have many athletes, musicians, dancers, singers and other talented students who we would like to showcase. If you would like to share their accomplishments, please send a jpg photo and a short paragraph explaining the photo with details about the activity, length of time they have been participating, type of honor they are receiving or other information to barbara.lawrence@cpsb.org We will begin posting these next week.

Please submit no more than 5 pictures from an event/activity. Be aware that pictures are not guaranteed to be in the yearbook. Reminder: close pictures of groups of students are preferred with students facing forward.
