American Education Week will present all Americans with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. We love our Simpson staff!

School Climate Survey!

As part of the state's College and Career Readiness Index (CCRPI) which is similar to a report card, the Department of Education asks parents to participate in a short survey (24 questions). The percentage of parents who participate directly impacts our School Climate Star Rating on the CCRPI.

Results Based Evaluation System Survey (Parent Satisfaction)

Beginning October 21 and ending on November 22, our county would like to get input on what parents think about all aspects of the school system. A parent survey is available on your parent portal. We encourage you to share your thoughts!

As part of American Education Week, Gwinnett County Public Schools partners with the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce each year to host Principal for A Day! Every school has a member of the Gwinnett County community join the students and staff to see the many roles a principal has in the school.

Our Principal for A Day will be Mr. Woody Woodruff. Mr. Woodruff is a retired Delta pilot who is a loyal friend of the school system and active citizen in the life of Gwinnett County.

Mr. Woodruff will visit our school next Thursday, November 21st. He is very excited about meeting our Simpson superstars! Welcome Mr. Woodruff!

It's time to buy a baby ad in the yearbook for your upcoming graduate. The cost is $15. Ads will be available for purchase on the website via credit card until December 1, 2019. (***There is a $1 credit card processing fee) Please use this link to go directly to purchase the baby ads:

You will receive an email after your purchase with instructions on how to submit one current photo of your child and one infant/toddler photo along with 30 words of text. Please note that photos may be in color or black and white. Photos must be at least 300dpi and copyright photos CANNOT be used.

Mark your calendars for the Simpson Elementary Barnes & Noble Spirit Night and book fair on Thursday, December 5th from 5-8pm!

Come hear the Simpson Singers, listen to story time with Ms. Schmit and other "famous" Simpson staff, and shop for gifts! We hope you can join us for this fun evening. A portion of proceeds from sales at the event will go back to our school. It’s a great way to support Simpson Elementary and kick off the holiday season!
