We are Learning Together
We know there is a lot of anxiety out there about online/remote learning, but we all are getting better each day! We appreciate everyone's hard work, and everyone's grace during this unusual and stressful time. We know that each of our families have their own unique situation. With multiple students in the house, we certainly understand how it could be difficult when sharing technology. Please know that we will be flexible with you and your family. We want this to be a positive experience. We are in this together, so thank you for learning with us.
Important Staff Contact Information
Teachers and campus administrators have Google Voice accounts so that they can call parents. Many of us do not answer phone calls from numbers we do not recognize. (Trying to avoid telemarketers!) If a staff member calls you, they will leave a message. Please check your messages. You can call the staff member back using that same phone number.
Teachers are available to support distance learning from 9:00 - 12:00 Monday through Thursday. That entails answering questions, giving feedback, technical support, etc. During this time, they are required to be available to all students and parents in their class. If you would like to have a parent conference, please email your child's teacher and they can set up a conference outside of the hours listed above.
Help your neighbors stay informed
We have many email addresses and families that are on this email list, however, if you hear that someone is not receiving my emails or district emails, please send their email address and name to me at tammy.rebecek@pfisd.net . Spread the word! The more informed we are, the better!
Stay well!

Art to Remember
Hi families and friends,
Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child’s art. There are over 50 products and many are less than $15. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school. Click on the link below and enter the online order code shown on your child’s order form or to search for your child’s artwork. Then, have fun shopping!
Special Areas Menus
The Special Area Menus that are coming from me and the teachers are meant to be choices for your child. You do not have to complete all of them. Pick from any area as often as you would like. These are meant to be fun for your child and easy to accomplish at home. If you do not have all the supplies needed for a project, no worries! Just choose another item.
Watching Baby Owls Hatch
One of our teachers shared this wonderful opportunity. She has a neighbor who has a live video cam set up in his owl box. There is a family of screech owls living in the box. The owlets should start making their appearance around April 18. When you click on this link, scroll down to find the live streaming video. How exciting!
A message from Photo texas
The health and safety of our schools, community and employees are of utmost importance to Photo Texas Photography.
The completion of the photo printings will be delayed based on the Stay-at-Home order from our Texas Governor. Photo Texas will receive the Mott school photos from the lab and then will deliver to Mott Elementary once school resumes.
Stay safe and healthy,
Chance Foster and the entire Photo Texas team
