Welcome Back!
On Career Day on Friday, we do want students to dress up according to what they would like to be when they grow up (or what they want to do now to change the world - just a little different perspective there). Please share this information with your students and parents. We will also have a 'concert' in the gym on Friday at lunch time from our very own local celebrity (and staff relative) - Andy Buckner! Students are invited to bring a blanket or towel for a 'picnic'. Please see the Google Doc from Jayme with the schedule.
Grades 3 and 4 lesson plans are due this week.
I will email out updated duty and lunch schedules. They are basically the same except the names of staff members have been updated.
Let's take a deep breath and hit the ground running! We have a lot to accomplish over the next 10 weeks! Coming up soon we have our Career Day, Data Discussions, Leadership Day, EOG Pep Rally, EOGs, Makeup Testing, RTA testing, Field Day, Transition Days/Meetings, End of the Year Ceremonies and then end of the year fun! We've got this! Remember that while this time of year is stressful and filled with hard work, it can also be fun and a great opportunity to further develop team relationships. Let's work together to make this the best 47 days ever!
Collaboration is Key!
Don't forget to LIVE the habits and take care of yourself!
Goals are great! We all need goals!
Upcoming Data Discussions
I will speak to Special Education, ESL, Title 1 and AIG about how the most productive way to involve them in our discussions this time. If you have an idea, please share it!
