One Run
From Miss Manning: I just received information for the Second Annual One Run event this spring. Save the date for Saturday April 25th, registration is open now through April 13th. OneRun 2019 had an amazing impact by raising over $17,000 and resulted in $14.25 per person sent to the school of each participant’s choice, Hanawalt alone earned over $1,800.
This event is at NO cost to us and registration is FREE to participants, because the fees will be paid by corporate and individual sponsors. Each participant may designate one school. The more participants, the more money goes directly to their selected school –— so invite your families and neighbors to register! All you have to do is register and show up to run (or walk )!
I will be sending out information in a few weeks, but wanted to share with you to get the buzz going. I would greatly appreciate your effort in making this a huge fundraiser for Hanawalt again this year!

Coffee w/ Legislatures organized by CLAT:
One of the best ways we, as parents, can support our school and students is to be a voice to those at the district and state level. Public education funding is crucial and as stated by CLAT "our voice and personal stories will help educate lawmakers about the impact current state policies have on our students, and encourage them to adopt solutions helpful to public schools"
