Freedom/rights for all citizens
fighting for rights and freedom
Thesis statement
Citizens should be able to make their own rights and have their own freedom without the government telling them what to do and not to. Citizens have the right to think and act for themselves we should all be able to make our decisions and face our consequences.
Summary
"In Harrison Bergeron" and " The lottery" people have no choice but to do what the government tells them they have no rights or freedom which is bad because people deserve respect and need to learn to make their own decisions without being told, controlled or living with fear.
Harrison Bergeron
Had to fight for rights and freedom in order to stay alive and protect himself from the government controlling him.
Americans
Fighting for their freedom and getting free from getting pushed around or having to do what the government telling them what to do.
Nelson Mandela
She had to do the same thing and fight for her rights and avoid not getting tortured from the government .
Conclusion
People have to fight for their rights and not let the government interfere with the privacy of people's rights. The government can not tell Americans how to live their lives and let them make their own decisions. We as Americans have to face our consequences and fight for what we believe and think.
