Pregnancy is measured in trimesters from the first day of your last menstrual period, totaling 40 weeks. The first trimester of pregnancy is week 1 through week 12, or about 3 months. The second trimester is week 13 to week 27. And the third trimester of pregnancy spans from week 28.

Advices for pregnancy

1. Get regular medical exams. 1. Do not smoke

2. Take prenatal vitamins. 2. Don't drink alcohol

3. Eat well and get plenty of exercise. 3. Avoid hot dogs ( yeah hotdogs)

4. Be sure to get enough fat in your diet. 4. Avoid junk food

5. Avoid negative thoughts and actions. 5. Avoid X-rays and microwaves

The stages of child birth

The first stage in child birth is dilation. It begins with the '' water '' breaks and the cervix opens for the baby to pass through the vagina. The second stage is labor. It is the delivery of the baby from the mother's body. The final stage is afterbirth where the delivery of the placenta, umbilical cord and amniotic sac out of the mother's body after the baby is born.
