Winter Choral Concert

Hello from Mr. Horner! Our Winter Choral Concert is fast approaching! We will be performing on Thursday, January 26. We will perform two times on January 26, once during the school day from 2:00-3:10 p.m. and again in the evening from 7:00-7:35 p.m. Adults who can’t make the evening concert may come and attend the 2:00 p.m. show. For the evening concert, please arrive at G.E.S. by 6:50 p.m. We will need to include the use of our rear playground for parking. The doors will not open until 6:30 p.m. When you arrive, 5th grade choir members should report to Mr. Horner’s music room. 4th grade choir members should report to the back of the gym in order to watch the 5th grade choir perform on stage (do not sit with your parents in the gym - sit with the entire choir in the back). On concert day, students should come to school wearing their black GES T-shirt that was purchased and given to each student by the HSA (Home School Association). If your GES T-Shirt doesn’t fit, then you will need to wear your own black t-shirt. Students should also wear blue or black jeans or pants. Students should wear their concert uniform during the day and nighttime performances.

All chorus concert and SOLO TRYOUT information can be found on my Boyertown Area School District website at boyertownasd.org. In the upper right corner, click on “Select a School”, then “Gilbertsville Elementary”. Then in the upper right corner click on “Teachers” - then click on my name “Scott Horner”.

Reminder: Spring Concert - Tuesday, May 16, 2022, 2:00 p.m. + 7:00 p.m. at GES
