Staffing Update

Washington families,

I want to share that the Integration Support Teacher Role that Beth Kimmel has served in over the past two years will be expanded into an elementary district level position. Her current position, which served to grow areas of innovation, design thinking and technology across Washington, will transition to increase similar opportunities across the district.

We are certainly proud of the work we've been able to accomplish with this position and are honored that our work here has been recognized by the district as a worthwhile endeavor to share across all schools. While the role of Integration Support Teacher will no longer be at Washington, we are eager to build on the work we started. I am proud of our teachers and staff for what we have accomplished. Appreciation and credit goes to them and their high level of collaboration and willingness to try new approaches to teaching and engaging students.
