Teaching and Learning Update

March 22, 2022

This year has been quite the year with learning...new initiatives from the state, learning how to close the gap from COVID, etc. We are so proud of the work you and your staff are doing to serve students and help them be the best they can be! We know this year has been challenging for so many.

We at Region 17 have been collaborating and planning for our summer professional development. We have been planning a great summer of learning for all. Below you will find links to all the content Smores that list the professional learning opportunities we are offering this summer. We are so excited to share these days with you and your staff!

We are continuing to schedule more professional learning this summer, specifically for Emergent Bilingual students and in the area of Science--More to come!

Registration for Summer has opened. We are offering training from Lead4Ward, Dr. Kilpatrick, Dr. Fierro, Robert Kaplinsky, Gretchen Bernabie, Matt Miller, and more! We are also teaming up to provide instructional support from our team at the ESC.

We hope the rest of this school year finishes strong and we look forward to seeing you this summer at Region 17!
