We at Region 17 have been collaborating and planning for our summer professional development. We have been planning a great summer of learning for all. Below you will find links to all the content Smores that list the professional learning opportunities we are offering this summer. We are so excited to share these days with you and your staff!
We are continuing to schedule more professional learning this summer, specifically for Emergent Bilingual students and in the area of Science--More to come!
Registration for Summer has opened. We are offering training from Lead4Ward, Dr. Kilpatrick, Dr. Fierro, Robert Kaplinsky, Gretchen Bernabie, Matt Miller, and more! We are also teaming up to provide instructional support from our team at the ESC.
We hope the rest of this school year finishes strong and we look forward to seeing you this summer at Region 17!

Solution Tree: PLC at Work Overview
Join us for a day of learning with Solution Tree!
In this workshop, Brandon Jones, with Solution Tree will help you gain an understanding of the PLC at Work process, including the three big ideas of a PLC—focus on student learning, focus on collaboration, and focus on results. You and your team will:
- Understand the benefits of PLCs and how to implement them in a school or district
- Develop and maintain a healthy collaborative culture
- Answer and utilize the four critical questions every PLC must address

Solution Tree: Educator Wellness
Professional Wellness Workshop for Educators
Join Jasmine Kullar, from Solution Tree and get hands-on, practical experience in working within the Wellness Solutions for Educators Framework. This full-day workshop invites every educator in your school or district to delve into 12 routines essential for personal progress in each of the 4 Dimensions of Educator Wellness.
- Honor your own wellness story and understand the value it holds for you and those whose lives you touch.
- Examine research-affirmed strategies you can use immediately for a more positive daily work experience.
- Reflect on current strengths and establish a personal action plan for improvement.
