After President Mickenly's assassination Theodore Rosevelt proudly took the oath of office. AT the age of 42 he was the youngest president to ever take office. His mother and wife died on the same day. After their deaths he spent 2 years on his ranch hunting and raising cattle He was known for many things as president two of the most famouse probably were the Panama Canal and his conservation of land and of course his strong foreign policy.
