First Marking Period Report Cards
We have 6 Core Classes in Middle School and students must pass 5/6 Cores in order to successfully be promoted to the next grade level. Students must pass with a 60% or better.

Music / Physical Education (Must pass 1 out of 2)
Specials (Must pass 3/4)
Please review Icampus and Canvas weekly with your child to make sure that assignments are being completed and any missed work is being made up.

Dismissal / After School Sports Spectator Policy / 5 PM Buses
We have a no student spectator policy for our after-school sports program unless otherwise communicated. This means that unless a student has a sibling on the team and is with their parents, no students are permitted to A) stay after school to watch a game or B) leave school and come back to watch a game.
Our 5 PM buses are for athletes and after school program students only. Students are not permitted to leave school at 2:45 to go to a friends house and then return to FDR at 5 PM to take the bus home. Any student found returning to school to take the 5 PM bus home will be denied access to the bus.
Attendance Office
Saturday Detention
Saturday detentions are held at Truman High School from 8 am to 12 and are assigned in 2 hour increments. Students must arrive before 8 am or they will not be permitted to enter and will be required to attend at the next scheduled date.
Students must bring school work or a book to read while there and are not permitted to use electronic devices.
Vaping
1st Offense - In place of a citation, student/parents have the option of purchasing Vape Educate online and complete the course. Proof of completion is required. Cost of Vape Educate $20.
2nd and subsequent Offenses - Student is cited and assigned additional consequences.
