Mrs. Bridges
Grade and Class you Teach: 7th and 8th Robotics, 8th grade Health
How long have you been teaching at SJ? I have been at SJ for 4 years.
Would you rather win the lottery or work at the perfect job? What is it and why?
I would rather work at the perfect job. If you love what you are doing then it is not work. At the moment my perfect job is teaching Robotics! I love the challenge and the excitement that the kids get when they accomplish something they didn't think they could do. Plus, I would drive myself crazy without a purpose everyday.
What would you most like to tell your 13 year old self?
I would tell my 13 year old self to get over myself. Don't let the other kids bother you, stay on your course and you can do anything!
Mrs. Kinder
Grade and Class you Teach: English 7
How long have you been teaching at SJ? This year is my 34th year to teach at SJ.
Where is your favorite place in the world and why?
My favorite place in the world is home. The physical, emotional, and spiritual safety of home - shared by my favorite people in the world - is a haven for renewal. I cook a little, enjoy my two cats, and watch too much TV.
What would you most like to tell your 13 year old self?
Let honesty and truth guide your words and actions. Even if people don't always agree with you, they will always respect your integrity. In words that have been attributed to Dr. Seuss, "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
