A&M Consolidated High School

Reflections from the week of December 7th

This past week, I had an opportunity to attend the Christmas concerts for Orchestra, Band, and Choir, and they were remarkable. Our students were so poised and confidently played and sang a variety of Christmas melodies. The music soothed my soul and put smiles on the faces of the audience. Our students’ musical talents, passion, and energy are to be applauded and are a testament to their musical gifts and commitment to excellence.

As we prepare for the spring semester, let me encourage you to think about those barriers that have prevented you from being innovative or from taking risks. You have influence, power, and support to overcome those obstacles that are holding you back—take that next step and embrace the opportunity to excel! Recharge, reinvigorate, and renew your hearts and minds and let us get ready for an extraordinary 2016.

As we finish the fall semester, please report any suspicious activity to the front office immediately. Be vigilant! It takes all of us to maintain a disciplined environment with high expectations for all. As a school family, WE must address issues and hold ALL students accountable.
