- Invite teachers, Liz, respective admin, and Danielle
- Schedule meetings for the next week by COB Friday
- Send email reminder
Changes to Class Connect:
Students can use their preferred names and enter 15 minutes early. You can lock the room if you are not able to be in the class until the start time.
Individual is no longer an option. Use the Conference option when setting up BOT meetings.
Re-Registration
Please make sure you are checking the Re-Registration Status in TVS Overview for the students you are meeting with each week.
If their status is Unknown, please speak with them about their registration plans and try to answer any questions they may have and address any concerns they have to help them make a decision.
Here are the steps for Re-Registration.
You will need to create a note for Re-Registration as well as for the FAST information.
Tiers
When students are referred to FAST, Liz will:
1) assign on the tracker
2) place students in the appropriate classroom
3) send the Tier II letter
4) send an initial BOT plan
5) invite to a FAST referral orientation
FASLs should contact the family ASAP and schedule a BOT meeting within 5 days.
A list of those students is kept in our FAST Google Drive under FAST Documents/Referrals 17 folder.
Tier III:
Students who are moved to Tier III should receive a Tier III letter AND a copy of the FEP form. FASLs should keep current with FEP points. The forms should be kept in and updated in TVS as well.
All students begin Tier III with 15 FEPs.
Students who fall below 10 FEPs are moved to Tier IV. Students can earn points back after 2 successful BOT meetings.
Tier IV:
FASLs and Liz conference about students who are potential Tier IV referrals. FEPs should be up-to-date in TVS.
Once a student is ok'd for Tier IV, Liz will:
1) call
2) move student from FASL support room to Annemarie's support room
3) change on the tracker (move to Tier IV and add Annemarie)
FASLs will:
1) send the Tier IV letter
2) send an email to Annemarie. CC respective admin, and Danielle with a summary of why the student is being referred to Tier IV.
Annemarie will be the point of contact until/unless students are moved back to Tier III, at which point they will be placed back in the FASL's support room. Please let Liz know if a student is in Tier IV and still in your room; otherwise, if a student is in your classroom, it is your responsibility to contact and work with him/her weekly.
