CHORUS
8th Grade Musical Theatre Advisory with Mrs. Moo
Students in Musical Theatre Advisory have started out the year playing improv games to work on their team building, creativity, acting and reacting skills. Some of the games they have played so far are One Word Story, Cross Differently, Charades, Mirror Exercise, miming and space work. Soon we will build on these skills by working with scripted content.
There is still room available for 8th grade students to join! If you enjoy acting and singing and want to be part of a creative and accepting environment, contact Mrs. Moo at mhmoo@lbschools.net or stop by room 601 after school! Thank you, Mrs. Moo, for submitting these pictures and this article!

Feely's Science Class
All of the pictures above and the text below were submitted by Ms. Feely. They are science activities she has been doing in her classes.
7th Grade: Since the start of the year, the students have been working on team-building activities such as investing magic-milk, and creating paper chairs for stuffed animals. They also have been working on our Geology of Mars unit and comparing processes that are similar on Earth to Mars by looking at rock samples.
6th Grade: Sixth grade has been working on lab skills and team-building activities. They worked together to Save Fred (a gummy worm). They also investigated the surface tension of water by placing drops of water and soapy water on a penny. They learned how to measure liquid volume by using graduated cylinders and then finally learned about observation and inferences by dissecting old computer disks.
