A rape on campus
Jackie was just starting her freshman year at the University of Virginia when she was brutally assaulted by seven men at a frat party. When she tried to hold them accountable nothing improved in her case.
Phi Kappa Psi House
The picture above is of Phi Kappa Psi House which on "Rugby Road" or the road all the fraternity's on the campus are on, which is where the brutal rape took place.
As a high school girl soon going off the collage this story concerns me. Putting myself in her shoes I would take those boys to court and make them pay for their mistake. I would not hide the incident to help the school keep a good name, the school should be ashamed for even attempting to do that.
Empathy connected to the issue
The only way people are going to help this "rape culture" stop is to be able to put them selfs in the situation themselves, to be able to think what it would feel like to be the girl or her family members in that situation. This seems to be a normal thing in society that people try to cover up rape like this one incident, and this male dominated society needs to end.
