Other staff deemed essential
- People can not be within six feet of one another. If you have staff that must be on-site to complete a task, please rotate on-site times so that no one is forced to be exposed to other people.
- No more than 10 employees can be in a single space at one time.
- For the safety of all of our employees and patrons, no one other than the above employees should be in buildings without permission or direction of his or her Supervisor. Since some employees are required to come in to keep District business going, we are asking all other employees to stay home unless they have a specific reason and permission to come to campus to perform work.
We care deeply about all of our employees. The District must continue feeding students and their families, and we are dedicated to the continued learning of all students. The District is a business, and we must perform certain functions to ensure that we are able to get up and running again when it is time to do so.
As you call in employees, please make sure you are being mindful of the questions we should ask of them:
Do you have a fever? Please take your temperature if you are able to do so. If you have a fever of over 99 degrees, please put in for leave and do not come to work.
Do you have a new cough?
Is there someone in your immediate family or in your home who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? Are you caring for someone who has COVID-19?
This is an ever-evolving situation, so we will be in touch if any of the above needs to be modified or adjusted. We cannot express enough how grateful we are for the support you are providing to your staff during this time.
Curtis Cain, Ph.D.
