Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Alison Korduck

Every week we will shine a spotlight on one of our very own Hometown Staff members. This week we will meet Ms. Alison Korduck.

How long and what grades have you taught?

I have been teaching at Hometown for 6 years and I have taught 5th grade.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

I love to travel so really I would go anything! If I had to choose, I would go to Spain. I had a trip booked to drive down the coast of Spain with my family in the summer of 2020 and had to cancel due to COVID. I am hoping we can still do it in the future!

What is the best thing about working at Hometown?

The best thing about working at Hometown are the people! I could not be more thankful to be surrounded by the amazing staff, students, and families. Everyone is so supportive of one another and have such big hearts!

What is your favorite food?

Anything Italian! I will never say no to pasta or pizza.

Who is someone you admire and why?

I admire my parents the most. They are my role models. I am so blessed for the many valuable lessons they have taught me and I admire how they have persevered through anything and everything. Hard work and determination are something they instilled in me at a young age and I could not be more thankful.

If you see Ms. Korduck around the school make sure you say hello!!
