Free and Reduced Lunch Application
Even though we started the year in remote learning, it is still important for every family to complete a Free and Reduced Lunch Application even if they think they do not qualify. Applications are available at payschoolscentral.com and only take about 10 minutes to complete. If you applied last year, click ‘Login’ to enter the site and apply again for the 2020-21 school year. If you are applying for the first time, click ‘Register’.
Families who require assistance completing the application may contact the Nutrition Services Department at 303-343-0295 or Ms. Prado and Ms. Cordero at 303-691-2384.
Update from Ms. Porter, RN
Just a reminder from your school health office nurse Ms. Porter, if your student will be needing medication at school I will need an updated medication form filled out by your child's provider and signed by a parent/guardian as well. Every new school year your child will need a brand new updated medication form to be filled out. All medications must be properly labeled and bottled to be accepted for school use. All forms can be faxed to VCS at 303.226.5529 attn Ms. Porter or dropped off directly at VCS.
Masks and Social Distancing
The inside carline is now designated for 5-8 students. After 5-8 students exit their cars they will go to the far right of the building and enter by the field. There they will have their temperatures checked before heading upstairs to class.
The outside carline is now designated for k-4 students. K-4 students will enter through the front door, where they will have their temperatures checked prior to going to class.
Fully Remote Students
October Core Virtues
Attendance in every class every day is essential for your child's academic growth. In the event that your child cannot be in class, make sure to call the front desk at 303-691-2384. You will receive an automated phone call in the evening if your child was absent from any classes throughout the day if you do not call in to notify us of the absence. You may email teachers to get make up work, but call the front desk, as well.
