CLOTHES URGENTLY NEEDED IN THE NURSE'S OFFICE!

Nurse Holley is looking for new boy's underwear, new & never used - sized for boys in Kindergarten through 6th grade, and Husky Boy's sizes Kindergarten through 6th Grade.


Boy's pants in the same sizes mentioned above are also needed.


Girl's pants, shorts & shirts are also needed, sizes Kindergarten through 7th Grade.

Early Release , Friday, January 21, 2022

Thank you parents and guardians for picking up students at 2:00 pm on January 21. The New River staff had time to look at student assessments to identify students that need reteaching of skills being taught in reading, writing and math. They planned for a different way to teach the skills in small groups to ensure all students receive additional support. We appreciate this gift of time for our staff to make plans to help all students be successful.

New River Elementary School is now accepting 2022-23 Kindergarten Registrations.


To ensure proper staffing for the upcoming school year, if possible, please enroll your kindergarten student at your earliest convenience! Tell your friends and family! Enroll online @ DVUSD Power Enroll or stop by the New River office and pick up a registration packet.


Please take a look and tour our campus! Meet Mrs. Martin, she has posted a Power Point from last year, as the same important information about kindergarten has not changed!

HEADPHONES NEEDED FOR TESTING - STARTS THE END OF JANUARY

Headphones are needed for state testing coming at the end of the month. If you are able to send a pair in with your student, it would be much appreciated! Thank you!
